Mustang Holdings II, Aspen, CO

Located in the Mustang Holdings II residential area of Aspen, Colorado, these photographs show a 600CY mat slab foundation pour for a custom home.

We used two concrete pumps for placing concrete and completed the pour in seven hours. Since this was considered a mass concrete pour, temperature probes were placed both internally and externally to assure there was no more than a 35 degree temperature differential between the two during the curing period. This was successfully completed using a combination of concrete blankets and ground thaw machines.
